Curtain Falling for Sad Sack

Today, Josh Marshall of TPM suggested that it was the 2nd demise of the immigration bill that makes Bush look like a sad sack in his speech today.

I wrote TPM with "Might I suggest that it is not the demise of his immigration bill that is causing the president’s current funk, but rather, all these revelations about Dick Cheney as the wizard behind the curtain. After all, he’s been going around telling people within the last year the he is the decider, the commander in chief. It is, so to speak, the curtain falling for Bush and he’s beginning to realize it."
